Are you looking for a beautiful, quiet, relaxing and fun getaway where every season has something to behold? Come and enjoy a lakefront stay on beautiful Locke Lake with a private beach. Our over-sized deck provides for amazing and relaxing views of the sunset over the lake. Later on in the day, spark up the grill and have your lunch and dinner on the deck, or on the private beach, while enjoying the beautiful sunsets on the lake
3 Bedroom, 2 full bathroom and accommodates up to 8 guests (6 adult maximum). Linens, pillows and blankets are provided for each of the beds at no additional charge.

Our property is located in the no wake area of Locke Lake, which is perfect for boating, fishing and swimming. The house is located on a quiet road and is equipped with high speed WIFI and cable television.
We have a private, well maintained sandy beach with a dock, beach chairs and fire pit that is perfect for roasting marshmallows. Relax on lake time, enjoying beautiful summer days and star lit evenings.
Don't stop at summer, as our house can be enjoyed for all-season fun! Our home is in a great location for fall leaf peeping, apple picking and hayrides with plenty of farms nearby. It is also less than 25 minutes from Gunstock Mountain for winter ski trips and snow tubing.
There are also several hiking (Mount Major), snowmobile, snowshoeing and cross-country trails nearby. It is also close to Lake Winnipesaukee and all that it has to offer.
When you get back from your winter adventure fire-up our wood burning stove in spacious basement and enjoy a puzzle or one of the various board games that are included with your stay.
Our beach water is shallow enough for young children to enjoy a clean, sandy bottom, with a gentle slope into the deeper water which is just past the dock for the adults to swim and boat in. Included with your rental are a Canoe, paddleboat, lifejackets, 2 fishing rods and a cornhole set. These amenities are available from May thru September.
Fishing is plentiful on Locke Lake with large, freshwater bass, trout, perch, and minnows swimming around on our shoreline (NH fishing license required for anyone 16 years or older). Bring your own gear or use one of our 2 fishing rods that are included with your stay.

Summary: Our stay was just as we expected. The lake was awesome. The beach makes it a lot of fun. The water floaties were the best. Canoe was great to take a ride along the lake. Restaurants were 15-20min - for some great food.

Summary: The house is recently renovated with new kitchen , floors, etc. very nice condition. Bathrooms in great shape. Excellent kitchen supplies for those cooking. Great decks -3! The first floor AC did the job. Evening cooling works for the bedroom area. The basement is a gem. Space for a work anywhere job while the family is having fun of for responsible kids to hang out. The paddle boat was great but the other boat was not functional. The small lake is just right for some paddling, we brought our own kayaks and launched easily from the beach area. This is a place you can plop down and rest for a week or so. Wolfboro and the rail trail were fun and there are several wineries and breweries to visit if that suits your fancy. Recommended for 4-6. We stayed mid July 2023 during heavy rains and it was a very pleasant stay.
